Northumberland based Goldsmith Kirsty Taylor has been designing and creating jewellery for 22 years.

Inspired by ancient jewellery and unearthed treasures with an emphasis on pure craftmanship, Kirsty's jewellery is subtle yet distinctive.

Kirsty and her team are passionate about craftmanship, longevity and the ability for jewellery to evoke and inspire reflection, capture new memories and special moments in life. The jewellery is hand crafted to be selected and worn as an emotional preference created with personal influence and strong customer led personalisation.

We strive to combine the ancient influence with cosmopolitan attitudes and create simple but distinctive wearable pieces.

We love to explore the vast range of gemstones available and take inspiration from each gemstones' unique perfections and imperfections to create one-off spectacular designs. Set in precious metals such as silver, gold and platinum our one of a kind or limited edition pieces are made to stand the test of time. Kirsty is a recent FGA qualified Gemmologist.

Our jewellery is meticulously hand crafted by Kirsty and her colleagues. We are passionate about the preservation of the artisan skills involved in creating jewellery.

Past commission pieces include work made for Unilever, Durham Cathedral, The Bishop of Hull, The assistant Bishop of Newcastle, a fashion show in Lloyds of London and Newcastle University.

Kirsty's jewellery is available to see in her shop and studio in the historic village of Corbridge in Northumberland as well as her online boutique.

Meet Kirsty

I have been running my jewellery business for 22 years first making beaded pieces incorporating vintage finds, to now, an FGA Qualified Gemmologist making one off pieces in precious metals with unusual gemstones as well as producing our best selling Northumberland Collection.

Every day looks a little different, from serving customers in the shop, discussing commissions, to carving models in wax and getting my hands dirty in the workshop.

Outside of work, I'm a Mum to 3 girls which is my second full time job! I l also love to run, read and swim.

My favourite pieces from the collections included the Dark Skies pendant, the Spinel and Platinum ring and the Teal Sapphire Ring. I'm also never without a charm bracelet.
