Every commission begins with a conversation. Whether you're marking an anniversary, reimagining family jewellery, or bringing a long-held idea to life, I work with you from first sketch to finished piece — designing and making each one in my Corbridge workshop.

With 21 years' experience as a working jeweller and as an FGA qualified Gemmologist, I bring both craft and technical knowledge to every commission. That includes sourcing the gemstone itself — if you don't already have a stone in mind, I can find one for you, matched to your design and budget.

How it works

1. Book a consultation Commissions start with a face-to-face appointment at the shop, so we can talk through your ideas properly, look at reference pieces and materials, and get a real sense of scale and finish — not something that translates well over email. Video call appointments are available for clients further afield.

2. Design & sketches From our conversation, I'll develop initial design concepts, refining them with you until the design is right.

3. Quote & deposit Once the design is approved, I'll provide a firm quote. A 50% deposit secures the commission and confirms the start of work.

4. Making Your piece is created, we hand make, use wax modelling and CAD in our design process and with any specialist processes — such as hallmarking at the Birmingham Assay Office or engraving  — managed on your behalf.

5. Completion The remaining balance is due on completion, when your piece is ready to collect or be sent to you.

Investment

Commissions begin at £350. Because each piece is designed and made individually, the exact cost depends on materials, gemstones and complexity — this will always be confirmed in your quote before any work begins.

Please note: I'm not currently able to take on repair work.
