A symbol of strength and courage the Lion of Corbridge charm is based on the sandstone statue of a Lion which was found in excavations in 1907 of the Corstopitum Roman Fort and Town west of Corbridge and is believed to date from 2 or 3 centuries AD.
Crafted with solid sterling silver, this Lion charm on a sterling silver chain bracelet has been made in the Kirsty Taylor Jewellery workshop in the centre of the Northumberland village of Corbridge close to where the statue was recovered.
